elevated ufncF With deep sorrow, we announce and mourn the passing of Rima Nassar on March 15, 2025, at the age of 69. Beloved widow of Nehmtallah Lahoud, daughter of the late Habib Nassar and Souheila Khoury Nassar, loving mother of Wael and his wife, Claire Boustany, and Rami and his fiancée, Elizabeth Régnier. Rima cherished her siblings Najwa (Habib Saba), Claude (Khalil Barbour), Zeina (Georges Matta), and Ramzi, always holding family close to her heart. Predeceased by her brothers-in-law Khalil, Salim, Halim, and Nehme Lahoud. Dear Sister-in-law of Karim Lahoud (Mounira El Khoury). She loved her two sons and her husband and will be fondly remembered as a devoted Wife and Mother, a generous soul known for her kindness, integrity, resilience, and wit. Known for her selfless spirit, Rima touched the lives of many, always extending a helping hand to those in need. She will be greatly missed by her siblings, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and the entire family (Nassar, Khoury, Lahoud, Saba, Barbour, Matta, Beyukian, Infilise, Lee, Barbu, Boustany, Régnier) in both Canada and Lebanon. Her memory will be eternal, and she will forever live in our hearts.

Ellen and I were deeply saddened to hear of aunt Rima’s passing. I have many fond memories of her generosity, wit and humour. She was always kind to everyone around her and welcoming with a wide smile. Our deepest condolences to the family, to Wael and Rami. We send you all the love in these difficult times and may she rest in peace.
