elevated hbzvi Obituary
elevated hbzvi Romeo Giovanni Bandiera was born on August 28th, 1929 in a small town in northern Italy, called Paese, Treviso. In 1949 he came to Canada in search of a better life where he could start a family. He met his wife Elisea, and got married in 1955.
elevated hbzvi Romeo was a beloved husband to Elisea for over 56 years, and a caring father to his two sons – Danilo and Franco. He will forever be remembered by his daughter-in-laws Filomena and Flavia, his grandchildren Laurie, Lianna, Andrea, Giuliana, Marco, and Daniela, and his great grandson Nicholas.
elevated hbzvi Romeo never failed to live life in full throttle. Whether he was sitting on the front porch eating ice cream, playing a game of cards, singing his favourite songs, or going for a ride in his car, he lived every second to the fullest. He loved making vino and grappa, traveling the world, and taking care of his garden. In his retirement he found a passion for painting and would spend hours in his art studio painting landscapes and scenes of Italy. Romeo was always the life of the party, and made friends everywhere he went. He loved being surrounded by family and friends, telling stories of his past, and making people laugh every opportunity he could. Romeo was the joker of the family, who never failed to put a smile on the faces of the people he encountered.
elevated hbzvi Romeo Bandiera will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate to know him and love him.

Heartfelt condolences to you all — Danny, Filomena, Frank, Flavia, Laurie, Lianna, Andrea, Giuliana, Marco, Daniela and Nicholas — for the loss of your father/nonno/bisnonno.
We will cherish the many memories of our times together with Zio Romeo. He loved life, he loved people, he loved his vino and grappa and loved to enjoy a great party — most importantly, he loved his family.
Zio you were blessed to have travelled and meet new people by drawing them in with your big heart. You had a passion for painting and were a true artist. Thank you for gifting us the beautiful windmill which we proudly display on our veranda.
You were taken away suddenly. God called you home to be with your beloved Elisea. Shine down on us all until we are reunited.
May you rest in peace. You will be missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
