It is with great sadness and heavy heart that we announce the passing of our dear mother Sandy, who peacefully left us on March 3, 2025 at the age of 96 surrounded by her loving family.
elevated gjD3E She was born on May 13, 1928 in Simcoe, Ontario to Joseph and Angelina DeCarolis. She lived a long and fulfilling life. She was a devoted matriarch and will be remembered for her incredible strength by her family.
elevated gjD3E She is predeceased by her beloved husband John (passed in 1997). Loving mother to Ann (Loreto) Dammizio, Nancy (Paul) Venditelli and Joanna Carcone. Adored Nonna to David, Christina (Daniel), Matthew (Danielle), Christopher (Chelsea) and Sophia. Adored great grandmother to Mila, Claudio Jr, Gabriel and Gia. She is predeceased by all her siblings and inlaws. She leaves behind a sister in law , brothers in law and many nieces and nephews.

elevated gjD3E Sandy will be lovingly remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.

Sorry to hear of aunt Sandy’s passing. I still think of the great times in the summers when your family came to help us in tobacco time. Sorry I cannot make it today because Jennifer rupture a disc in her back, so I am helping with the family. Take care love all of you.

Dear Anna, Nancy, Joanna and family
I’m sorry I didn’t get to Toronto for the funeral. My thoughts are with all of you at this time. I’ve always held your mother very dearly in my heart and I have such great memories of the time I lived with you guys over 60 years ago and also when you used to come to the farm to help in harvest. I fondly remember many cups of tea shared with Aunt Sandy and her special teapot shaped like an English cottage. With Love & Heartfelt sympathies, Mary Ann
