It is with profound sadness that the family of Stella Palumbo announce her peaceful passing on Oct 2, 2022 at the age of 80 years.
Our beloved wife, mother, nonna, sister, zia, godmother, cugina, commare and friend. She was truly special to many. Her beautiful smile and generous heart will be missed.
Lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, Carlo; children: Lina (Sam), Grace (Pasquale), and Giancarla (Roberto); grandchildren: Christopher, Joseph, Michael, Libby, Daniele, Robert, Anthony; brother, Paolo (Mimma) Rietta; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her parents Michele and Paolina Rietta, and her brothers Michele, Filippo, Salvatore, Liborio
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday October 7 2022, 10 am, at St Francis Xavier Church, Mississauga Ontario
The family would like to thank Dr. Christopher Feindel, Dr. Vladimir Sluzar, Dr. Thomas Lindsay and all the staff at Toronto General Hospital and Trillium Health Partners for their care of Stella over the past 32 years.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the UHN Foundation.
