I must say condolences to the Chang family I grew up in Marabella knowing this whole family my sincere sympathy to the family.
My dear Annette,
The news of your dear Mum’s death has come as a very sad day for me. You
would remember that, from about the first time I met you and your Mum in
the sacristy of St Joe’s, I had mentioned to you that you have to be
prepared for her leaving you. You were very brave, and stoically said
that you were aware of that. Well, that time has come, and you and your
family have to “step up to the plate”, as the saying goes, to send your
Mum on with all the meaningful love and reverence to which she was
entitled.
What more can I say, but that I admired your courage, and that of
Margaret also, when she had to take care of your Sylvia when you had
gone on Retreat. A card of condolence is really inadequate in this sad
event, so I have preferred to send this, so much more meaningful than a
card, which has only limited space for expression.
Please accept therefore by this letter, my dear Annette, Margaret, and
all members of the Chang family, my deepest sympathies and condolences
on the entry into the eternal and blissful life of your beloved Mother.
She has done a marvellous job of bringing up her family, and I have no
doubt that, fortified by the blessings and Rite of the Church of Jesus,
she has already received the recompense promised to the faithful souls.
May Sylvia rest and remain in the Peace of the Almighty, and may each of
you one day be reunited with her, the one who made your existence
possible. God’s blessings on you all, with my prayers and memories of
affection.

Condolences to you and your brother and sisters on the passing of Mamee.
One of my fondest and most treasured memories of Mamee was when she came to my home to share with me the art of pow making. She brought this HUGE steamer, solidifying the quality lesson that I was to receive. She taught me how to knead the dough, cook the meat, amidst witty banter and infectious laughter that accompanied that ever present twinkle in her eyes that made her Mama Chang. Mamee was a joy to know and I enjoyed all the moments I spent with her.
Rest in peace Mama Chang.
To Mary and the Chang family.

Dear Annette and Margaret, We just saw this sad news of your mom’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Hugs, Sheila and Monique
