elevated xANzD God called Teresa peacefully on November 20, 2020 at the age of 87. She is now reunited in heaven with her loving husband Vito. Cherished by her dear children Angelo (Elisa), and Giulia (Cosimo). Proud Nonna to Cathy (Sam), Lisa (Steve), Daniel, Joseph, and Michael. Cherished Bis-Nonna to Roman, Marcus, Bianca, Julian, and Mia. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. A special thanks goes out to the third floor team at the Villa Leonardo Gambin Nursing Home. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks for all the love and support during this difficult time. If so desired, donations in memory of Teresa may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

As a result of this we are forced to limit the number of guests that are allowed to attend funeral services. The De Carolis family will be having a private visitation and funeral mass on Tuesday, November 24th, 2020. We welcome you to offer your condolences to the family by leaving an online condolence.

Zia Teresa was a wonderful aunt – she never judged anyone and always smiled! She was always genuinely happy to see us. We feel the loss but we have good memories in our hearts. Our deepest condolences to her children and grandchildren.

Dear Giulia, Angelo and families,
I loved hearing the storytelling of our elders, and I recall hearing many about our mothers together in Italy as children. I will so miss the reminiscing and laughter of Zia Teresa with the other matriarchs that we have lost. Her kindness and generosity to me and my family will never be forgotten.
