It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Vanda Angela Morrison (Nee Viecili), who passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 9:38 p.m., at the age of 60.
elevated 5Aa4C Vanda was born on August 30, 1964, and lived a life full of love and care for those she held dear. She was the loving mother and mother-in-law of Jesse and Xibei. Ex-wife of Garry. Sister and sister-in-law to Giuseppe and Mary. Aunt to Michelle, Natalie, and Giannin. Great aunt to Scarlett, Aurora, and JJ. Cat mother to Allie-Cat.
elevated 5Aa4C Her warmth and generosity also extended to her extended family, who remember her as a loving person full of wisdom and compassion.
elevated 5Aa4C Throughout her life, Vanda exemplified kindness and resilience. Her family will forever remember her strong spirit, her unwavering love, and the countless memories they shared together. Vanda’s legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the love she gave.
elevated 5Aa4C She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to be part of her life.
elevated 5Aa4C Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 27, 2024 from 4:00-8:00pm. A Private Memorial Mass will take place at a later date.
elevated 5Aa4C The family would like to extend their deepest thanks to the staff of Hospice Vaughan, for all of their exceptional care and compassion they showed to Vanda during her final month. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to Hospice Vaughan, or to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society
My deepest condolences to the entire family. I had the pleasure of working with Vanda for many years, and she will be deeply missed by so many. May she rest in eternal peace.
