Dear Mary, Victor, Venus and Serena,
We were devastated to hear of Vanessa’s untimely passing. Our hearts ache for you and our prayers are with you all. Although her time here on earth was short it sounds like she touched the lives of all who knew her very deeply. God must have had other plans for your beautiful daughter. Our sincere condolences. Eva and Dan (friends of Levina and Arthur)
Goodbye Tanzanian’s rose
May you ever grow in our hearts.
You were the grace that placed itself.
Where lives were torn apart
You called out to our community.
And you whispered to those in pain.
Now you belong to heaven
And the stars spell out your name.
And it seems to me you lived your life.
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset.
When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here.
Along Canada’s greenest hills.
Your candles burned out long before.
Your legend ever will.
Loveliness we’ve lost.
These empty days without your smile.
This torch we’ll always carry
For our community’s golden child.
Even though we try.
The truth brings us to tears
All our words cannot express.
The joy you’ve brought us through the years.

Dear Victor and Mary.
We are deeply saddened to hear about the loss of your child. May Vannesa rest in internal peace. Her memories will forever live in our hearts.

Dear Wambura family,
I just got the terrible news of Vanessa’s passing. My sincere condolences. As I read Vanessa’s obituary, it was exactly what I remembered when I taught her at LBP. She would have been a great nurse for sure! It’s a terrible lost for her community…
I wish that I had the perfect words to help you erase some of the pain that comes with your grieving, unfortunately, I have a difficult time to find the right word. What comforts me is that you have a great community that has already shown supports through messages (and probably who already shown up at your door too).
I’ll keep you in my thoughts in this very difficult time as I can’t imagine what you are going through, Mrs and Mr Wambura, to lose a child. And to Venus and Serena, to lose a little sister.
Courage.
Mme Jean
Our thoughts and prayers are with you Victor and Family.
“Vanessa gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.”
Psalm 73:26 “My flesh and my heart failed: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.”
Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”
I supply taught all three Wambura sisters many times at LBP. Vanessa was always smiling, always so full of life. My heart broke upon learning the news of her tragic passing. Your whole family is in my thoughts and prayers. My daughters, Stephanie and Natalie, also send their deepest condolences to you all. May your dear Vanessa rest in peace.
Vanessa was such an amazing, loving person who always brightened up my day when we were together. I’ll never forget her beautiful smile and laugh.
Aunty Mary, Uncle Victor, Serena and Venus, I love you all so much and send my deepest condolences to you & all of her loved ones.
I extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends of Vanessa. She was a kind and caring student who was deeply committed to her goal of becoming a registered nurse.
