elevated 08SA4 God called Vincenzo peacefully on April 10, 2025 at the age of 92. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Anna. Cherished by his dear children, Caterina (Fred), Stefania, Rosarita and Joe (Marcia). Adoring Nonno to Lianna and Daniela (Tim). He will forever be remembered by his brother Antonio, as well as his brothers and sisters -in-law Stefano, Caterina, Angela, Vito, Felicia, Pino, Rosa, Teresa and Mario and his many nephews and nieces here and in Italy.
elevated 08SA4 Vincenzo will be received in heaven by his father Giuseppe, mother Caterina, brothers Stefano and Nicola and sisters Maria and Rosa, his niece Maria Teresa as well as many other predeceased that loved him.
elevated 08SA4 He will be forever held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and friends.
elevated 08SA4 Vincenzo was foremost a man of great, profound faith and deep love of family. He spent many years working in the St Peter’s community providing compassionate support and comfort to the sick and homebound as a Eucharistic minister, serving at masses, as an active volunteer at Radio Maria and sharing his deep faith and an encouraging smile with everyone he met leaving a lasting impression.

elevated 08SA4 In lieu of flowers, it was Vincenzo’s wish that donations in his memory be made to St. Peter’s Church- Woodbridge, Radio Maria Canada , or the Canadian Cancer Society
We remember not only the man Vincenzo who died, but also, who led an honourable life. In our hearts are the memories of your father. We may never fathom how difficult the loss is for you, please be assured that you are in our thoughts, and his soul in our prayers. My sincere condolences to the entire Galati family. I have known your father for such a long time. He was truly an amazing man. You are right when you say he had a beautiful smile. He faithfully came to my mothers house to give her Holy Communion every week and thankful for that.

Vincenzo Galati, a beacon of selfless service who touched countless lives during his many years as a volunteer at Radio Maria Canada. He possessed an extraordinary ability to brighten even the darkest moments with his warm smile and gentle presence.
Throughout his years of service, he was the ambassador of Radio Maria in his parish bringing Radio, donation, intentions of prayer and more.
No task was ever too small or beneath his notice.
Particularly memorable was his initiative to drive around the President of Radio Maria World Family every time he was visiting Toronto. Through this simple yet thoughtful project, once again, he demonstrated his remarkable ability to recognize and address the unspoken needs of others.
Countless times, he would say, “Every moment we can help someone is a gift.”
Beyond his volunteer work, Vincenzo treasured his role as a mentor to new volunteers, sharing his wisdom and compassion with the next generation of volunteers. Under his guidance, volunteers learned to serve with both their hearts and hands. Though we mourn his passing, Vincenzo’s legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched and the culture of caring he helped create. His spirit of volunteerism continues to inspire us all to be better, to do more, and to serve others with the same grace and dedication he exemplified every day.
Vincenzo, we’ll miss your steadfast faith, your servant’s heart, and your ability to bring our community together. Thank you for showing us what it means to live a life of purpose and faith. Your legacy of service will continue to inspire us all.
