elevated qNOfn Vincenzo, age 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2020, at Etobicoke General Hospital. He was born on Oct 1, 1927, in Buccino, Salerno, Italy. He left Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1972. He has left this world to join his beloved wife Gaetana. He will be missed deeply by his four children Antonio, married to Erminia, Flora married to Paolo Diamanti, Luciano married to Patrizia and Adrianna Mirabelli. His eight grandchildren, Rudy, John, Vincent, Sabrina, Melissa, Natasha, Luca and David will forever hold him dear in their hearts and live with many memories shared with their Nonno. Vincenzo was called “Big Nonno” by his 6 great grandchildren, Luca, Stefano, Sebastian, Oriana, Valentina and Elodie. He is survived by his brother in law Raffaele Russo and his 3 nieces Carmela, Silvana and Rose and their families. Vincenzo has family in Italy who are mourning his loss. Vincenzo was loved and supported by his caregivers Rosmie Reyes and Diane Tupay. A memorial mass will be scheduled at a later date when attending church and social gatherings are possible.

Non ho avuto il piacere di conoscerlo, ma la figlia Flora ce ne parlava sempre… Era sicuramente un uomo gentile e buono d’animo, ma soprattutto un gran simpaticone al quale piaceva mangiare bene (italiano) e divertirsi… Amava i suoi figli e suoi nipoti ed aveva un amore grande per la moglie Gaetana…
Ora vola in pace nella grazia di Dio…

It is with great sorrow I offer my deepest condolences to all of you. My fondest memories are when we were all together at Tony and Ermina’s for Christmas and when Vincenzo would bust out the dance moves. He was truly a unique personality. He was the father to four beautiful children and he will be missed. RIP
