Loving father of Mary and her husband Eric Amaral, Mike Accardi, Nina Accardi and her husband the late Jose Medeiros, Angie Accardi, Salvatore Accardi, Franca Accardi, Vito Accardi and his wife Marisa, Mario Accardi and his partner Nidia Perez, Mary Accardi and her partner Manny Ribeiro, Lucy Palumbo and her husband Andrea, and Joe Accardi. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Corey, Lucas, Nicholas, Teresa, Antonia, Chelcy, Jessica, Cristian, Brandon, Cassidy, Victoria, Isabella, and great-grandfather of Justin, Jordan, Marcus, Alexsandra, and Alessia. Donations to the Canadian Diabettes Assoiciation would be appreciated by the family as your expression of sympathy.

It is with heavy heart that we have to say goodbye to you
For the last 17 years you welcomed me into and allowed me to be part of your family and I’m happy to continue to be part of it
I will miss our family gatherings where we’d play mazzetta and you’d take all my money(you are a better player than me)
But most of all I’ll miss you because now you’re with the angels .
Your family can stand strong through their grief knowing that now you are forever their guardian angel and will always be near by to reassure those left behind that everything and everyone will be OK because you’re there watching over us

To my Loving Dad, I love and miss dearly. I can’t believe it, this very moment you are not here. I can’t stop thinking about your passing, it doesn’t seem believable. I feel like I am in a bad dream. I wish you were still here. I miss hearing you sing especially your favourite song called Piccolo Fiore. We have made amazing memories with you, it’s unforgettable. I loved that you had a passion for gardening and at a point in your life you also enjoyed cooking for your family. This came about I remember when the Italian army called you on to cook for the soldiers. When you came home from Italy you still wanted yo cook. I remembered growing up we were all close, the family always together, especially when we had our celebrations, whether it be birthdays, wedding’s, Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, and also all the religious sacraments. We all as a family knew how to have a good time together. You enjoyed doing a lot of different things like walking, riding your bike, you enjoyed eating especially pasta that was your favourite. You loved having your espresso daily at your favourite bakery called St. Philip’s. You would always sit on the veranda with your wife, enjoying her company and the fresh air. Your wife and family was your reason to live, I know you loved us all ver much. You also really enjoyed listening to Italian music, and you liked to watch action movies regularly. When I was very yonge I would go with you and mom and my brother’s and sister’s to the woodbine to watch the horse race, you loved horses. You were a loving and caring father, and I will never forget you. You will always be forever in my thoughts. Rest In Peace Daddy. I still feel you are around. Thank you for being my Dad.

Dad, you may be gone from our sight but you are never gone from our hearts. We will always remember the times that you sang Italian songs to the family and how proud you were of the vegetables in your garden, which you would share with the family. We will forever cherish these memories, along with all of the others. We will miss you but we know that God has gained another angel.
God, if there are roses that grow in heaven, please pick a bunch for us, place them in our father’s arms, and tell him that they are from us. Tell him we love him and miss him so much and when he turns to smile, place a kiss upon his cheek and hold him for a while.
