William Whiting, age 77, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2025 due to health issues. William, also known as Bill by his family and friends, was born on January 29, 1947 to parents Thomas and Julia Whiting in Shanghai, China. He immigrated to Canada in 1967. William met his spouse Estela in 1968. The two were married in 1971 and went on to have one child, son Allan.

elevated Q3oAu During his early life William enjoyed playing soccer and ship model building, and later in life spending time with his family, listening to music, watching movies and travelling.

elevated Q3oAu William is survived by his wife Estela; son and daughter-in-law Allan and Abigail;  and grandchildren Ashley and Aaron.
